Tuscan Bread

French Bread (Sliced)
Tomatoes (Sliced)
Fresh Spinach
Mozzarella (Sliced)
Your favorite pesto sauce homemade or store bought.
(My favorite is from Paradise bakery)

Now you just make it like a pizza

Spread the pesto sauce on the bread
Layer on Spinach, Cheese, top off with a tomatoe
Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 min
or until bread is lightly toasted and
cheese is melted.

Peanut Butter Cookies

Cream
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
Add
1 cup peanutbutter
Cream together until smooth and add:
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Put Hershey Kisses in the middle of each cookie right after taking them out of the oven. Let cool!

Banana Nut bread

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cups nuts, chopped (if desired)

Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar together until very light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in bananas and vanilla. Mix together flour, baking soda and salt and add alternately with buttermilk to the batter. Fold in nuts. Turn mixure into 2 well greased loaf pans and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Cook on a rack.

Mrs. Fields Cookies

Cream:
2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
Add:
4 eggs (warm)
2 tsp vanilla
Mix in:
4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
Add:
2 12 oz bags of chococlate chips
3 cups nuts (if desired)

Bake 375
9 minutes

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

2 TBS Corn Starch
6 TBS Sugar
1 1/2 C Pineapple Juice 3 TBS Vinegar
1 1/2 TBS Soy Sauce

Mix Corn Starch and Sugar together
Add Pineapple Juice, Vinegar, and Soy Sauce.
Bring to a boil, sauce should become clear, take off heat.
Add cooked meatballs.
To keep warm put in crockpot.

Carrot Cake

1 ½ C vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 C sugar
3 C grated carrots, squeeze excess juice out after grating
2 C flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 C chopped nuts (opt.)

Mix oil, eggs, and sugar; beat well. Add carrots. Add dry ingredients. Bake at 350F for 40-50 min. (check with toothpick for doneness.) Frost with cream cheese frosting and garnish with slivered almonds.

This one hasn't been made yet for family gatherings but a hopeful for me. This is the best cake I have ever had. Thank you my best friend Emily Willoughby!

Carmel Corn

1/2 C Brown Sugar
1 cube Butter

Melt butter and brown sugar together over boiling water and then add

2 cups Marshmellows melt together and poor over 2 bags prepared popcorn!

Apple Dip

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla

Mix together and add

1 1/2 cup heath bits

Use apples to dip

CLAM CHOWDER

2 cans clams (drained)
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup potatoes (small cubes)

Cook onion celery and potatoes until tender

1 quart half and half
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 tsp salt
dash pepper

Melt flour and butter together. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Add half and half - stir constantly until thickens. Drain water off the vegetables and clams - add to the flour mixture.

ICE BOX FUDGE

1 can evaporated milk
4 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 1/2 large milk chocolate hershey bars grated (20.5 oz)
2 cups nuts, chopped
1 pt bottle of marshmellow

Mix milk, sugar and butter in large pan. Bring mixture to a boil and then boil for exactly 8 minutes.Stir constantly. Add chocolate, nuts and marshmellow. Mix until smooth and creamy. Pour into 9x13 pan. Let cool in refrigerator.
